    George Dresser MD, PhD, FRCPC, FACP

      Dr. Dresser is an Associate Professor at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, Western University in the divisions of Clinical Pharmacology/Toxiology and General Internal Medicine. He completed his undergraduate and graduate training in Internal Medicine at the University of Western Ontario in 1998. After receiving accreditation in Clinical Pharmacology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1999, he completed a post-doctoral fellowship position in Clinical Pharmacology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. In 2004, Dr. Dresser completed a Ph.D. in Pharmacology & Toxicology under the supervision of Dr. David Bailey. Dr. Dresser is a member of the Hypertension Canada recommendations task force. He is active clinically as a General Internist, with specialty interests in Hypertension, Anticoagulation in atrial fibrillation, and general vascular risk reduction.
