This lecture will review some of the Hot topics in medicine over the last year. Topics that will be discussed are new cancer detection, cancer therapies, anticoagulation, anti-platelet therapies. We also discuss the new blood pressure and lipid guidelines along with the PCSK9 inhibitor therapies. We will also highlight key areas from the new 2018 Diabetes guidelines.
