A Day of Family Health Scientific Planning committee
The A Day of Family Health Scientific Planning Committee (ADOFHSPC) is a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to advancing medical education through evidence-based, relevant, and practice-enhancing content. The ADOFHSPC was responsible for the development of this Continuing Medical Education program, carefully identifying current gaps in knowledge and clinical practice to design sessions that address the real-world needs of family physicians and allied health providers. Through collaboration, peer review, and adherence to accreditation standards, the committee ensures that each component of the program promotes lifelong learning and supports the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Learning Objectives
- Assess, diagnose & treat a variety of diabetic and bariatric conditions that are commonly present in primary care practice
- Incorporate new guidelines to optimize patient treatment into their practice
- Implement practice change based on knowledge acquired during the sessions

SPC Mitigating Bias Conflict of Interest Process
All content is reviewed independently by the Scientific Planning Committee in accordance with CFPC Mainpro+ accreditation standards.
Any potential conflicts of interest among speakers will be disclosed during their individual presentations.
A Day of Family Health’s Scientific Planning Committee has developed the conference program, including sessions and presenters based on evaluation feedback received from previous conferences.
A Day of Family Health’s Scientific Planning Committee have reviewed and approved session learning objectives and speaker disclosures included in the program to ensure the mitigation of any biases.
A Day of Family Health’s Scientific Planning Committee will review evaluations of the program and address bias with the presenter if it had been introduced as indicated by the participants.
